Company Background

Diablo is a private fabless semiconductor company formed in March 2002. Diablo is focused on designing large mixed signal ASIC products that require high data rates, low power, and low latency. The company specializes in deep sub-micron CMOS technology, and highly integrated bridging and switching products for the server and storage industries.

In addition to offering standard off-the-shelf products, Diablo works closely with select customers and technology partners to develop customized mixed-signal devices and Intellectual Property (IP) for a variety of high performance data management applications. These specialized devices generally leverage the strong portfolio of silicon proven high-speed SerDes, I/O and PLL technology in various advanced CMOS technology nodes.

Diablo’s design teams, both digital and analog, have embraced the new metric of performance per watt. The team is highly motivated to develop products that simplify system design, and improve thermal efficiency at the system level to drive down the cost of advanced computing and data storage.
